Kyriad Prestige Hotel Warsaw hotel

Across the street from the Sobieski Hotel, which stands out thanks to its colorful façade, we can see a large complex of buildings, consisting of three hotels belonging to the French chain Louvre Hotels: the Kyriad Prestige, the Campanile and the Premiere Classe. The three-star Prestige has the most to offer if we're interested in a business trip or simply in an inexpensive for its class (it's worth it to pay attention to weekend specials when room rates plummet like a stone) and a recently built (3 years ago) hotel. Just being in the hotel's lobby conveys an unusual ambience of hospitality (it's very pleasant to have a seat on one of the soft couches to read newspapers) and the front desk staff's sincere smiles as well as cordiality with which the guests are treated enhance this feeling even further. Well-lit, modern interior of the hotel unwittingly reminds us that the other part of the hotel's name is -Prestige-.

Rooms

The hotel has 133 rooms with one large bed or two separate ones. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. It's a pleasure to work at a desk, which just like other furniture, looks like it left the factory only yesterday and its only goal was to impress the guests with its newness, color scheme and functionality. We can also rest easy when it comes to the comfort of living at a large and busy intersection of Jerozolimskie Avenue and Towarowa Street - the rooms are soundproofed. We are protected from excessive summer heat and frosty winters thanks to the manually-controlled air-conditioning.
The rooms are standard-equipped with TV (satellite channels and Canal +), a radio, a telephone, a safe, a mini-bar and internet access via a modem. It is also possible to use wireless internet at the hotel (WiFi service).
Bathrooms are beyond reproach - they are large and a good idea was to equip them with bathtubs, which also give the possibility of taking a shower.
Half of the rooms are for non-smoking guests.
There are 6 rooms for handicapped persons. Although entrance to the hotel is through an automatic rotating door, those who due to the state of their health are unable to pass through them so quickly haven't been forgotten. The doors can rotate more slowly and it's also possible to press a special button and summon a person who will help to enter the hotel through a normal door.
The guests can use 2 lifts.

Restaurant

The restaurant's menu is filled with meals of international cuisine.
Breakfast served in the form of Swedish buffet, can hardly disappoint anyone. The selection of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres is a pleasant surprise and when we add a beautiful and warm decor of the dining room, we'd like to extend the breakfast at least until lunchtime. As far as dinner is concerned, from the menu which features a large selection of delicacies, we can recommend veal cutlets in hazelnuts with baked apples, cranberries and potatoes (49 PLN). Prices are similar to those at other restaurants of this type located in the centre of Warsaw. However, not in every establishment we can feel that the restaurant's decor and style of service are an extra helping of luxury added to a superb menu. Here we do. Tables and chairs made of chocolate-colored wood, mood-enhancing lamps and a ceiling subtly lit with halogens create an environment, where pure relaxation is combined with delights of the palate.
That's why it's difficult to leave the -La Rose de Vents-. This is especially true when we take into account the fact that the hotel's restaurant can truly prepare a nice surprise, e.g. organizing culinary events related to exotic national cuisines. They are an opportunity to try, for example, the Moroccan cuisine, and because the hotel staff equally painstakingly takes care of original interior décor, it's also easy to feel the ambience and the character of other cultures at the same time.

Conference

The hotel has very good conference facilities. Guests can select from 7 air-conditioned and soundproofed conference rooms, including 2 VIP rooms. The smallest of conference rooms accommodates about 20 persons; the largest - from 100 to 270, depending on configuration. Conference rooms are equipped with the necessary gear (e.g. a wall screen, a projector, a TV, a video, microphones). The hotel offers professional catering; including snack sets, various supplementary service packages (e.g. integrational events) and a full possibility of organizing banquets, even for several hundred people.

Additional Services

When unpacking our luggage, we'll be pleased to notice that the hotel prepared a welcome treat for us, consisting of coffee, tea (including herbal tea), hot chocolate and cookies. It's a very nice gesture, confirming the hospitality and commitment of the hotel to give small pleasures to its guests.
After waking up in the morning we don't necessarily have to quickly run downstairs to the restaurant - we can use the “breakfast in room- service.
If while staying at the hotel we have enough time to think about rest and recreation, we'll be glad to learn that the room rate includes the use of a fitness room, a sauna and a Jacuzzi. We can go there at any time, because they are open 24 hours a day.
The hotel has its own underground car park with a video monitoring system. The parking fee is 30 PLN for 24 hours.
It's possible to order airport transfer to and from the hotel, using the hotel's bus.
