Holiday Inn is a 4-star hotel located in the city center. The geometrical façade is quite characteristic and makes the building hard to miss. This comfortable hotel with a touch of luxury is a perfect place for those who would like to organize any kind of meetings there. The conference infrastructure is so well developed, the rooms – so comfortable and the location so convenient, that any meeting or conference just has to be a success.
Just after having entered the hotel you will feel that the stay there is going to be a nice experience. The very spacious lobby, filled with greenery and the kind will surely impress you and helpful staff will make you feel someone really special. The service at the reception desk is really fast and no time is wasted there. Honestly speaking most of the guests who stay at the Holiday Inn are nicely surprised by the conditions of the one in Warsaw compared with the Holiday Inns elsewhere in the world.
There should be no problem with communicating in Polish, English and German at the reception desk.
Rooms
There are 336 rooms, including 54 single rooms, 272 doubles (and twins) and 10 suites on six floors in the Holiday Inn Hotel waiting for the guests, so the large groups of clients are more than welcome there.
The good information for the non-smokers is: the vast majority of the rooms (206) are free of cigarettes smoke.
The single, twin and double (with one Queen-bed) STANDARD rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, window shades, radio, TV-set, cable TV and a safe. If you would like to have tea or coffee in your room, there is a tea/coffee-making facilities. You will find bathtubs in all the bathrooms of the hotel rooms. The interesting element which makes the stay at the hotel even more pleasant is the presence of the sound system in the bathrooms. Therefore, at the end of the day you can rest having a bath full of bubbles listening to the radio. Isn’t it a nice way to end the day? Moreover, if you wish to talk to your relatives you left at home, there is also a telephone in the bathroom.
There are some things you can use at the additional cost like: a telephone, high-speed Internet, pay-TV and mini-bar.
For the guests traveling with their children, there is a possibility of putting an additional bed for children into the room. In case of the double room, with a big Queen-bed, there is also a sofa you can rest in.
There are two rooms prepared to meet the needs of the disabled. There is a special driveway leading to the entrance of the hotel as well and two lifts taking the guests to the higher floors of the hotel.
If you wish to stay in a more spacious room, there are single and double EXECUTIVE rooms. I liked the interiors of the room very much as they give the professional impression. They are just perfect for the guests coming to Warsaw in business matters as the working corners are very comfortable and suitably prepared.
There are ten suites with Queen-beds for the most demanding clients in the hotel.
Restaurants
There are two restaurants in the Holiday Inn hotel; the "Brasserie" and "Symfonia" restaurant. "Brasserie" is open in the mornings from 6:30am till 11:00am. That’s the place where the buffet breakfasts are served. However if you wish to have your breakfast earlier, there is no problem with that, you just have to mention it earlier at the reception desk. There is also no problem if you wish to have this meal anytime during the day, thanks to the "express breakfast" service.
The interiors of the "Brasserie" make a very pleasant impression with its small, round tables covered with snow-white table cloths, fresh flowers on the tables and the modern-shaped ceiling. The restaurant is prepared for up to 84 people at the same time. There is a separate non-smoking zone in the restaurant, so if you do not smoke, you shouldn’t worry about the people enjoying their cigarettes while having meal.
After the "Brasserie" closes, the other restaurant is opened. The meals in "Symfonia" are served between 12:00am and 11:00pm. The décor of the interiors are similar to those of the "Brasserie". The flowers on the tables, the air-conditioning will make your meal time very nice. The menu of the restaurant consists of the meals from the Polish and international cuisine. I recommend going to "Symfonia" for an evening meal, as there is an additional attraction prepared. You can enjoy your meal listening to the sounds of music coming from the corner, where a pianist plays classical music pieces. The only disadvantage of the restaurant service is its price. The meals are quite expensive. If I had to choose, I would go to one of the restaurants in town to eat, as they are simply cheaper.
Apart from the restaurants, there is a charming café in the hotel. The "Kawiarnia Wiedeñska" ("Vienna Café") with its patchwork-like walls, comfortable chairs and sofas, dim lights and violet table-cloths it is just a perfect place for meetings. You can have tea, coffee, a drink and/or a snack. I strongly recommend having a cheesecake which happens to be one of the best cheesecakes I have ever eaten. There is a café garden opened during summer.
For the evening, I recommend going to one of two bars "Preludium" or "Prolog", although the drinks are quite expensive there.
"Prolog" and "Preludium" are situated in the ground floor not far from the reception desk, next to the restaurant. The smiling bartenders will prepare you a marvelous drink, that you can enjoy sitting by one of the small tables and listening to the music from 8am till 2am. The places are air-conditioned.
Conference rooms
Holiday Inn hotel is a perfect place to organize conferences and meetings. The hotel is as close as possible to the International Railway Station, in the heart of the city, close to all the financial and business offices in Warsaw. There are five conference rooms and six meeting rooms in the hotel. There is a modern equipment necessary to organize a successful meeting or conference in each of them. The smallest meeting room is designed for up to 12 people. If you want to organize a large conference, I suggest taking all the conference rooms, as they can be joined and serve as a meeting room for up to 258 people. The hotel’s staff will help you with organizing the conference, meeting or any kind of event like a banquet or a ball.
There is a Business Center in the hotel where you can use a printer, a Xerox machine etc.
Additional Services
There is a parking zone that you can use at additional charge.
There are all sorts of services for the guests making their stay complete; starting from the beauty saloon for the ladies, hairdresser, tourist information, souvenirs stall to laundry service.
Thanks to the constant video monitoring of the hotel and it corridors you can feel really safe.
