A modern, multi-block, metallic façade of the hotel is visible in the city center. It is a big hotel for the business guests, but not only. Mercure Fryderyk Chopin is located in an excellent neighborhood of the four- and five star hotels. There is the Westin hotel on the other side of the street and Radisson Sas right next to the hotel. The international standard of a high quality and the openness to the local traditions is the Mercure hotels' motto. The only Mercure hotel in Warsaw refers to the Polish great composer in various ways. First of all - the name, furthermore you can hear his music while having a meal and see the memorabilia of his life in other parts of the hotel.
You can easily communicate in Polish, English and French at the reception desk.

Rooms

There are 250 rooms on the 10 floors of the Mercure Fryderyk Chopin hotel, including 109 double rooms, 133 twins and 8 suites with a KING/QUEEN size beds and a sofa.
A working space with a comfortable desk, telephone and wireless Internet connection is a standard in all the rooms. There is also a sat-TV, several pay-TV channels, a radio and a mini-bar. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They are functionally decorated and furnished, however they lack the modern touch that I personally prefer.
A nice feature of the rooms is a possibility of making tea or coffee on your room. (That's what you can find in some hotels of French hotel chains). All the necessary equipment is in the room.
If you don't feel like coming down to the bar, you can always use the 24hour Room Service (6am - 11:30 pm).
The rooms that can be connected are a very interesting solution for the families with children. It is very comfortable to have the children right next to you and be able to take care of them without having to go through the corridors.
Good news for the non-smokers! Most of the rooms are for them.
There are six rooms prepared and designed to meet the needs of the disabled.
The hotel is equipped with air-conditioning.

Restaurant

The fact that the hotel is of French origin is especially visible at the restaurant. Before we even sit down at the table decorated with flowers, we will surely notice wine-stands promising a wide choice of wines in the menu. "Grands Vins Mercure" is a brand you just have to get to know, no matter in which of Mercure hotels all over the world you are in.
There is also a wide choice as far as the meals are concerned. We can have dinner in "Le Stanislas", enjoy a dessert in "Madame Walewska" or spend an evening over drink in "Le Bar".
In "Le Stanislas" you will have the possibility of choosing something from the typical French cuisine and some meals from the international and Polish one. If you are lucky you will have the possibility of taking promotional meals at special prices from the less popular countries - recently the meals from Mexican cuisine were in the offer.
Without leaving the hotel you can taste the delicious cheesecake, fruit cake or a cake covered with a thick whipped-cream quilt and fluffy chocolate mousse. To do that you have to go to the "Madame Walewska" café and order something sweet in addition to your favorite kind of coffee. Just don't be too late; the café is open till 8pm only.
The music notes on the columns in the bar are a promise of a good music there. The jazz fans should come here during the season. Up till November there are live jazz concerts in the bar few times a week.
You will find a lot of smaller and bigger restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. You can also always go to one of the charming restaurants in the Old Town only 2 kilometers away. The prices are a little lower than those in the hotel.

Conference rooms

There are 7 conference rooms for those wanting to organize a meeting or conference in Mercure Fryderyk Chopin Hotel. Some of them may be connected, so there is a possibility of organizing a meeting for up to 250 people.
Additionally, there is Executive Club in the hotel, where at the addirional charge, you can use such equipment as a printer or Xerox machine etc.

Additional Services

The Mercure Hotel takes care of the nice, home-like atmosphere not only in the rooms. Apart from the bar, the "table-zone" of the reception lobby looks also very attractive. If you have a laptop you can use the wireless Internet connection or simply browse through the newspapers. The business guests are privileged here, they can use the Internet connection for two hours and it is included in the price of the room. The remaining clients can purchase a special card at the reception.
After a day of taking care of your business or exploring Warsaw you can relax in the gym or pay a visit to sauna. Those services are included in the price of the room. At an additional price you can order a massage.
The Mercure hotel has its own underground zone. The charge is 55PLN per day per car.
You can take you pet with you to the hotel; however you have to pay additional 50PLN a day.
You can use the safe at the reception desk and order the laundry service.
