Le Meridien Bristol Hotel is a highly prestigious hotel located at the Royal Tract which leads from Wilanow to the Old Town through the most interesting parts of Warsaw, full of churches, historical buildings and places worth visiting. The hotel itself is a magnificent building on the corner of the Royal Tract and a smaller street. It is impressive, especially after dark the illumination of the façade makes an exceptional impression. Guests, who stay in Bristol most often find the hotel best in Poland. The staff deserves to get five stars (or more) as well. Always friendly, they will help you with their professionalism and kindness.
The Le Royal Meridien Bristol is one of the several buildings that survived the chaos of the Second World War. Some say it could use some slight renovation. But thanks to the historic ambience nowadays you can enjoy the luxury of the Old Europe in its original form. If you add the fact that such celebrities as the Queen Elisabeth II or baron Mannerheim chose to stay at this hotel while being in Warsaw, you will fully see its magnificence.
The staff at the reception desk speaks Polish, English, French and German.

Restaurant
In Le Meridien Bristol Hotel, there are basically four places to go to eat, to have a coffee or drink. Various menu contents, a fine selection of wines and alcohol and classical music filling in the interiors of restaurants and bars make it possible for the guest to choose where to go according to their needs and mood.
First of all, there is a "Malinowa" restaurant. The restaurant has been winning various awards. Its extensive menu offering Polish cuisine attracts a lot of guests. I have to admit that the chef of "Malinowa" is not afraid of experiments as far as the Polish cuisine is concerned. Furthermore you just can't resist the outcomes of those experiments. A wide choice of wines (predominantly French) is an excellent additive to the meal. The prices are rather high here. For example, for the outstanding freshly smoked pigeon breast served with zucchini pancakes and juniper berry sauce, we will have to pay 90PLN (about 25 EURO), which is more expensive than in most of the restaurants in Warsaw. If you decide to eat in "Malinowa" restaurant, you just cannot miss the dessert. I recommend the apple cr?me brulée flavored with "¯ubrówka" and cinnamon.
If you are a fan of Mediterranean cuisine the Marconi Restaurant is a place to go for you. The casual atmosphere of the place and the possibility of having your meal in the courtyard make it a popular place among the guests. The specialty here is a wide choice of pastas and risotto. For the white wine risotto "Neapolitan" style with fresh herbs and vegetables or for the fresh potato gnocchi with chestnuts you will have to pay about 40PLN (about 10 EURO). The Marconi Restaurant is open daily from 6:30 am to 10:30 am and then from noon to 11 pm.
There are also two places popular as far as meetings are concerned. In the morning and afternoon I suggest choosing the "Café Bristol". The place is in Viennese style. The Café offers light meals and pastries. It is more inexpensive than the restaurant. The daily menu (including soup) for one person costs about 12 EURO. There is also a wide selection of cakes. Apple strudel, cheese and poppy seed cake, marble cake and a great selection of tarts with coffee or tea will make your day better. When you add the live classical music you can enjoy here from Tuesday till Saturday, you will surely know why this place is so popular among guests.
If you want to start your evening in the atmosphere of high society, listening to live music (most often the piano music) and enjoying a delicious and expensive drink you should go to the "Column Bar". The "Column Bar" is open from 10am till 2am. The drinks are rather expensive (from about 40PLN = 10 EURO).
