The Airport Okęcie Hotel is located in close proximity to the airport (about one kilometer) and the interiors of the hotel, almost at every step refer to the hobby popular in the 30s - that is to the aviation. There is a Sky Bar on the 7th floor, where you can enjoy coffee, tea and a magnificent view of the airplanes taking off and the city.
The tennis courts, gym and sauna are for those who take care about their fitness and health even while they travel.
Rooms
There are 172 rooms in the hotel, including 7 suites. One of the suites is especially worth taking closer look at. In the suite no. 720 you can enjoy the glare of the fireplace and welcome your guests in a small, intimate conference room joined with the room.
In the suites there are favorite kinds of fruit and wine waiting for the guests and the relaxation in stylish rooms or a bath in comfortable corner bathtub will surely be a nice experience. Additionally, you can use the free of charge, wireless Internet access anywhere in the hotel.
The remaining single and double rooms also look very attractive. A lot of space and modern décor make you want to stay in the rooms even more than necessary. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning (with moisturizing option), TV-sat, pay-TV, mini-bar, telephone and radio. The nice element of the room is the working-space with charming lights. Apart from the mini-bar, there is also an electric kettle, dishes, tea and coffee in the room. Room Service is available 24 hours a day. There is a nice surprise waiting for us in the bathroom. The floor is heated.
There are two rooms designed and prepared to meet the needs of the handicapped. There are three modern lifts and a driveway for the wheelchairs (in my opinion a little to steep, however).
There are separate rooms for the non-smokers.
Restaurant
The chef of the Airport Okęcie Hotel is a master of making the menu a variety of tastes and scents. He keeps adding more and more hits from the European cuisine and the most interesting meals from the exotic ones. It may happen that after having come to the hotel we will enjoy the specialties from the French cuisine, the day after - from the Russian one and the day after from the German or Italian one.
There are two restaurants you can choose to have your meal in. The first one - "Mirage" located next to the bar has pleasant, however not astonishing interiors. I would choose the other restaurant - "Klubowa", where you can have dinner or organize a small meeting next to the charming fireplace. There is more silence and calmness in "Klubowa" than in "Mirage" and you cannot see the guests rushing through the hotel's lobby.
If you would like to have a drink, it is enough to go downstairs to the Jet Bar or take a lift to the 7th floor to the Sky Bar. In the latter one, while having coffee or drink, you can play pool and enjoy the city view full of lights in the evening.
Conference rooms
The hotel takes great care about the conference offer. There are eight air-conditioned conference rooms, equipped with OHP, screen and a flipchart. The sound-proof windows, sun-light help the conference participants concentrate and make the stay there very comfortable. There is no problem with Internet - there is a wireless access all over the hotel. The conference rooms designed for small meetings of a few people make the interesting offer as well. You can also organize a business meeting in a special suite or in "Klubowa" restaurant.
Additional Services
There is a free of charge bus taking the guests to and from the airport to the hotel. Its timetable is adjusted to the flights timetable.
The hotel has prepared a special offer for "transit stays", it is possible to stay in a room between 8am and 6pm, a special price is offered for such stays.
The hotel has an offer for spending your time actively. There are two tennis courts, open all year long, where both advanced players and beginners can try their luck. There is a Tennis Academy next to the hotel that offers tennis lessons with a coach.
The Sports Gallery is a place changing according to the needs. It can be a place for a picnic, grill-party or a sports event.
Apart from that, there is a room with sauna and Jacuzzi, which is rented to the guests for their own use (about 100PLN/h). The hotel's staff will take care of special arrangements on guest's request - candles, flowers, wine and sweets. The gym fans can use it anytime using their room cards for opening the gym. There is a possibility of ordering a massage.
The hotel's staff will take care of your sleep as well. If you wish you can replace your "standard" pillow with a soft, hard or orthopedic one thanks to the "Pillow Service".
There are two guarded parking zones: the one next to the hotel (30PLN/day) and the one underground (50PLN/day).
There is a newspapers stand in the hotel, where you can also buy some cosmetics.
